Genesis Mining News News

In the latest blog post, Genesis Mining looked back on the year 2017 and the achievements they have made. The year behind us was very successful according to the report, and they ended up servicing about 2 million customers. Naturally, with growing demand, Genesis Mining needed establishing new facilities in order to increase the number of contracts and currencies they can offer. They have also increased their presence through various conferences and media campaigns, for the sake of raising awareness about Bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies.

In July Genesis Mining had a security breach, but the attack was spotted shortly after. Security measures are doubled down and since then they are working constantly to provide secure service to their customers.

We were writing about their new series #EvolveWithUs before, and since then, two more episodes came out.

In the third episode, Genesis Mining’s CTO Stefan Schindler is talking about the growth of the Altcoin market, blockchain technology and the difference between Bitcoin and Altcoin and in the latest episode Philip Salter, the lead developer is talking about Hive, the central software for deploying new farms, maintaining and managing access control. It can fix all kinds of problems like configuration problems, firmware upgrades and so on.

Regarding the mining contracts, all contracts are sold out except, 2 year contracts for Monero which came out with new prices, so from now on Starter package will cost $830 for 1000 H/s, Best Buy package $2460 for 3000 H/s and Max Profit package $7200 for 9000 H/s.
